(This has been entered in a few chili cook-offs and while delicious, has never won.)
5 lbs. round steak, cubed
5 lbs. lean ground beef
5 lbs. hot Italian sausage
1 lbs. pork cubed
Brown all meat, then put in crock-pot, then add the following ingredients;
3 tbsp. chili powder (3 tbsp. max, season to taste)
1 ½ large white onions, chopped
3 bell peppers red/yellow/green (for color)
3 jalapenos (can substitute canned)
2 dried Anaheim peppers (2 max, season to taste)
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp. cumin seed
½ pint water
½ tsp. sugar (makes you less gassy)
2 tbsp. Worchester sauce
1 can tomato paste
After it has been in crock-pot for 3 hours, add the following ingredients (if you have any room left) & cook one additional hour.
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
1 can chili beans
(Should feed 10 southern Utah farm boys!)
