Chili Verde- Marysia

Pork (small tenderloin)
1 large can green chilies
Season salt
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Onion(s), chopped
3 tsp cornstarch
Cheese of choice, grated

Brown pork with seasonings.  Put pork in Crockpot.  Put some water in pan used to brown pork loin.  Put seasoned water in Crockpot and add more water until Crockpot is mostly full.  Add chilies.  Let cook on low for most of the day.

Add onions ½ hour before finishing.

Half hour later:  Take out pork and shred w/fork.  Put mix in wok and bring to a boil  In small dish mix 3 tsp cornstarch with cold water.  Add to wok until correct thickness.

Serve on tortillas with cheese.

Clearly Marysia cooks like our mother, without a real recipe (would that I were so good a cook), so add seasonings to taste.  She also made this recipe milder for me so feel free to add more chilies and spice.
